What are the cost for getting a usb port replaced?

Recently my laptop fell and my one usb port doesn't work. I've tried to plug a mouse or usb stick into it but it doesn't seem to do anything. I think the black piece in it is broken because when I put the mouse in slightly it lights up. Can someone please help me this is the only port that works because the other port is empty (was like that when I bought it from Wal-mart).
