I just bought a new laptop, but certain videos no matter what browser i use are playing choppy, what can i do?

I bought an Inspiron 14r from dell, its new, but for some reason certain videos will playback choppy. I tried different browsers but the problem still would persist. I gave it a shot playing the same video on another laptop i have had, which has many problems but the video played smooth as i wanted it to. What can i do to resolve this issue?
